The Escape Series is a supernatural–fantasy horror/drama book series written by Jade.Adele (VixieJade on Wattpad). The series follows the life of 17-year old Alexandria Gilbert who first falls in love with century-old vampire, Stefan Salvatore. As a result, this draws Alexandria, Elena, and their friends into the supernatural world of their quaint town, Mystic Falls; where it is plagued by vampires, werewolves, witches, doppelgängers, and original vampires. As a result Alexandria, Elena and her friends have made enemies including the Original Vampires/THE Mikaelson Family, Katerina Petrova, and later on Silas and the Travelers.
Though Alexandria becomes acquaintances/friends with some of the Mikaelson siblings and later on travels to New Orleans after Graduation to learn and find out more about her maternal family. Though while there, she finds out she's pregnant with Niklaus Mikaelson's child.
The series also focuses on the lives of Alexandria and Elena's friends and other inhabitants of the fictional town of Mystic Falls, Virginia and later on; the Alexandria's friends, family, and other inhabitants of New Orleans, Louisiana. And then Alexandria's family and friends and the other inhabitants of the Salvatore Boarding School for the Young & Gifted. The series is a mix of teen drama and the supernatural.
