This was the romantic relationship and current friendship between the vampire, Milton Greasley and tribrid, Nina Salvatore.
Though this initially started as a friendship, their relationship develops throughout the series. MG was the good vampire, who only wanted Nina to see him. Nina eventually develops an interest in him, him making her feel like she's never felt before. When people written MG off as the nice guy who can't get a girl but Nina proved them wrong when she started dating him. Over season one of Legacies, their bond grows and at the finale they told each other they loved each other. Nina never turned her back on him when she thought he killed Landon or found out when he was a ripper. She saw someone she loved needing help and she helped him take the first steps. Over the next season and a half their love grew and would eventually fall in love with one another. MG and Nina are always willing to save each other, even if it means that they get hurt in the processes. For him, she is the best thing that has ever happened to him in his life. For Nina, MG is the one who's never judged her for anything and loves her through anything.
They are referred to as "Mina" by fans.
Throughout Legacies[]
Season One[]
MG and Nina were one of the main couples in season one. MG had already had a crush on her ever since he attended the Salvatore School. Once Nina found out that MG had a crush on her she didn't want to date him, still not over the fact that her previous boyfriend was murdered. She was afraid if she dated MG that something would happen to him the same way that happened to Henry. Eventually on Nina's sweet 16 party she agreed to be with MG, wanting to give their relationship a try. Even when Nina found out that MG was a ripper she wanted nothing more than to help him get through it. She stood by his side even after the fact that he killed Landon, by accident. In the season one finale she jumped into Malivore with her sister and all of his memories of her were erased, causing him to move onto another.
Season Two[]
In That's Nothing I Had to Remember, MG's memories returned by a spell casted by Josie and he more than anything wanted to get back with Nina but she wanted time to think since everything has changed for both of them. MG at that time had a crush on Kym and Nina had feelings for Ethan.
Season Three[]
In Hold on Tight, Nina was going to ask MG if he wanted them to stay friends or try their relationship again but she saw him tell Alyssa that he wanted to try things with her. Nina's heart broke hearing him say that and then him kissing Alyssa.
In This Is What It Takes, MG found out that Nina is dating Ethan and it broke his heart then he later found out Alyssa cheated on him with Jed. He talks with Kaleb about how to win her back and he vowed to fight for Nina until he couldn't anymore.
In It's Okay To Love Them Both, a bonus chapter; Nina went into the therapy box and her subconscious conjured Ethan and MG who both grilled Nina to get her to confess which one she loved. Later she talks with the real MG and told him that she'll always love him but they both had to move on from each other.
In To Whom It May Concern, MG tried to keep his mind off of her but couldn't so he just sat in her bedroom and thought about all the good times that they shared together. He kept saying no to everyone so that he can think of ways to win Nina's heart again. Nina too at her new school is having visions of her time with MG and how much she missed him but she knows she has to move on.
In Do All Malivore Monsters Provide This Level of Emotional Insight?, Nina talks with MG and says that even though they're not together that she'd really like to be best friends with him again and that she'll always remember the times they had together. MG agreed and stated that he'd love to go back to the way used to be. Later in the day MG understands why she loves Ethan and why she moved on.
In All's Well That Ends Well, their friendship seems to be going great and he even put himself in danger to protect her.
