Mason Ash Gerard-Mikaelson is a guest character on Legacies. He is the hybrid son of Marcel Gerard and Rebekah Mikaelson. He is the grandson of Mikael and Esther Mikaelson. He is the nephew of Freya, Finn, Elijah, Niklaus, Kol, and Henrik Mikaelson, the nephew of Emil, and the grand nephew of Dahlia.
Mason is a member of the Mikaelson Family and by birthright a member of an unnamed witch family.
Throughout Legacies[]
Season One[]
In There's A Mummy On Main Street, Mason is born in the New Orleans hospital. Freya, Elijah, Klaus, Kol, Marcel, Katherine, Keelin, Davina, and Nina all meet him after he's born.
Personality[]
Mason is very smart for his age, already showing signs that his magic is coming in. He is silly, always having fun playing with his cousins.
Physical Appearance[]
Mentioned by Alex, Mason looks both like a good combination of his mother and father. He has Rebekah's beautiful blue eyes. He has brown curly hair and a bright smile.
Powers and Abilities[]
As the son of both an original vampire and an upgraded original vampire; it's unknown what vampire abilities he will have that are different regular vampires. Though it is very possible that since his father is an upgraded original, that he may inherit his father's advanced werewolf bite.
So currently the full extent of his powers are unknown for the time being.
Witch-Nature[]
Mason is a witch-hybrid, having inherited his witch gene from his mother, the daughter of Esther Mikaelson. According to Dahlia, as a firstborn of their bloodline, Mason has inherited great, but devastating power.
Vampire-Nature[]
Mason will eventually start showing signs of vampiric traits, specifically his blood. His blood can turn humans into vampires.
Weaknesses[]
According to Dahlia, firstborns of her family's bloodline inherit great power; however, it is unstable and will damage and, ultimately, kill the witch if they are not taught to contain it.

Rebekah and Mason have a strong bond to each other. Rebekah would die or kill for him if he was endangered.
