Niklaus "Nik" Joshua Mikaelson II is a guest character on Legacies. Nik is the tribrid son of Niklaus Mikaelson and Alexandria Gilbert. He is the younger brother of Hope, Miranda, and Jenna Mikaelson and the maternal younger half brother of Jax, Nina, and Lily Salvatore. He is also the adoptive younger brother to Adella Mikaelson. He's the grandson of Ansel, Esther Mikaelson, John Gilbert, and Isobel Flemming. He is the step-grandson of Mikael and Alaric Saltzman and the adoptive grandson of Grayson Gilbert and Miranda Sommers-Gilbert. He is also the nephew of Freya, Finn, Elijah, Kol, Rebekah, and Henrik Mikaelson as well as Arielle Labonair, Elena Gilbert, and Jeremy Gilbert. He is the grand-nephew of Dahlia, Logan Labonair, and Lilith Labonair as well as the adoptive grand-nephew of Jenna Sommers. He is also a distant relative of Lana, Eve, and Cary. He is the adoptive younger brother of Marcel Gerard via his father
He is named after his father, Niklaus Mikaelson. His middle name if after his mother's late friend, Joshua Rosza. He takes the surname of his father's side.
He is the paternal cousin of Finn, Victoria, Ace, Isabella, and Mason Mikaelson. He is the maternal cousin of Grayson, Sarah, Stefanie, Sebastián, Camila, and Issac.
Nik is a member of the Mikaelson Family, Labonair Family, Gilbert Family, Petrova Family, and an unnamed family of werewolves. Nik is by birthright a member of the Crescent Wolf Pack and the North East Atlantic Pack, as well as an unnamed witch family and Divine Coven and Trinity Coven. He has ties to the Salvatore Family. He is one of the four children fathered by the Original Hybrid.
Physical Appearance[]
As a Labonair, he has the Crescent birthmark on his right shoulder, just like his mother, aunts, siblings, and distant relatives, Eve and Lana, and the Hollow.
Powers and Abilities[]
As a hybrid of three supernatural species a witch, a werewolf, and a vampire; the full extent and limits of Nik's powers are currently unknown.
Nik, his mother, and his siblings are Nature's loophole that could be used against Malivore. There is no facts if Nik can heal people who have been shot with weaponized Malivore bullets since it has not been seen.

Nik is a witch-hybrid, having inherited his witch gene from his father, the son of Esther Mikaelson and his mother, Alexandria Gilbert. Nik has inherited great, but devastating power.
Werewolf-Nature[]
Nik is also part werewolf, having inherited the werewolf gene from both of his parents. He currently has not triggered his wolf curse.

Although Nik is not a full vampire-hybrid, he posses a few vampiric traits.
